Sharpening the Faith: Pastor Training Schools Report for September
September was a busy and fruitful month across You Turn Ministries’ Pastor Training Schools! We are thankful for the dedication of our students and the impact this training is having on their lives and ministries.
Ministry & Education Highlights
- Msundwe School: 15 students were in attendance, working through Book 7: The Church Administration. Facilitators include Joseph Chiwoko, Andrew Matanaa, and James Jana.
- 6-Miles School: 13 students were present, focusing on a Bible Doctrine Survey. The school is facilitated by Joseph Likokho.
- Mponela School: 14 students completed Bible Doctrine Survey and began work on Personal Spiritual Life. Caesar Nkhoma facilitates this school.

- Nesford: “The Pastors Training School is helping me by giving me material and equipping me for the Ministry… I received Jesus many years ago when I heard the Gospel. - Lenard: “This training has made me able to teach and preach without fear or shyness. My understanding of the Bible is now deeper than it was before… Before, my life was filled only with my own desires. After a pastor preached to me, I accepted Christ as my Savior. Now I share His love with others… I am grateful for this training. It has sharpened my faith and compelled me to share what I have learnt. Please keep on with this program so that many leaders can be trained and reach more lost souls in the villages.”
Prayer and Needs
We invite you to partner with us in prayer for the schools:
- For the Sick: Please pray for Nelson (6-Miles school), who was sick for several days in September.
- For Strength & Faithfulness: Pray that God will continue to strengthen the students and the teachers in their commitment and labor. “Praise God for his faithfulness in this training.”
- For Peace: We ask for prayers for peace in the country of Malawi following the election period as the new government assumes its responsibilities.
