U.S. Passport Application

All U.S. citizens need a passport to travel outside the country by air. Passport processing may take up to three months, so it is best to apply well in advance of any travel plans.

Malawi Visa Application

The government of Malawi grants U.S. citizens visas upon arrival at a port-of-entry in Malawi, but encourages travelers to apply online in advance for an e-visa.

Vaccination Requirements

Effective June 5, 2023, the Malawi government no longer requires proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative PCR test to be allowed entry or to exit the country.

Parental Consent Form

An affidavit of parental consent is required for minors flying through South Africa without parents. Please note that both parents listed on the child's birth certificate are required to give consent.
