*If* a village has a well, it is usually broken and either functioning poorly or not at all. Many villages in Africa have never had access to clean water. You Turn Ministries works with our Pastor Training Schools to identify areas to plant churches and provide humanitarian assistance while sharing the Gospel. We identify a need for a Restoration Well or New Well and work to Transform a Village.
All our well projects include the DOXALink satellite monitor that addresses the well’s upkeep and maintenance by allowing our partner to monitor our wells 24/7/365. We know how much water they are pumping down to the minute. This allows our partner’s teams to be proactive in our maintenance ensuring clean water is flowing long after our initial install.

Women and children are often walking an average of 3.7 miles to gather diseased water from a dirty mud puddle. Many will rise early to get to the water before the wildlife.
