Church Plant Catalyst
"Amy and I were married in 2003. Then God used an 8-year struggle with infertility to prepare, build, and
mature our faith. He blessed us with our
first son, Timothy, in 2011 and our second son, Samuel, in 2015. Four months before Samuel was born, God
called me to Malawi for a short-term mission trip. Since that trip, I have returned every summer
and winter to Malawi to share the grace and saving power of the Gospel. Amy and I started going together to Malawi in
the summer of 2017. The Lord has led us
down many roads and into many villages proclaiming the Gospel and planting
churches. We have also been a part of three
family conferences where we taught Malawian families the roles of a biblical
family. One of these was extremely
special because Amy and I rededicated our vows on our 15th wedding
anniversary at the close of that family conference."
"After our first trip together, the Holy Spirit laid it on our
hearts to become missionaries. So, we began preparing. In May 2021, I will graduate from
Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies
with a Concentration in Cross-Cultural Missions. Amy earned a certificate in Women’s Studies
in International Missions from Southeastern Theological Seminary in 2019. Then
after years of praying for God to show us where He would have us serve, He led
us to You Turn Ministries."
